“The aim for the Challenge Cup would definitely be to win it,” Dobie told glasgowwarriors.org.
” This weekend gives us a fresh start as a team and although the game away against Bath will be tough, it is a good game to start with.”
Coming off the back of last weekend’s win away to Zebre Parma, the squad are keen to carry that momentum forward through training and into tomorrow’s game.
“Bath is a team we are not familiar with, and they play a different game to other teams we face,” said Dobie.
“They can be a danger on the attack but that is when we need to turn to our defence, and it is about trusting in them too.
“We’ve done a lot of work on our away form and lineouts; it’s about getting into it from the starting whistle and make the most of every opportunity.”
With the squad featuring three debutants, Dobie is keen to draw on past European experience for tomorrow’s match at The Rec.
“Personally, I’m really looking forward to the experience and just going out and helping the team, making the most of the opportunity and focusing on my role within the squad,” he said.
“I’m really excited about playing at The Rec – I’ve been told it’s a great place to play.”
