Glasgow Warriors will face Scottish-Italian Shield counterparts Zebre Parma ahead of the 2024/25 campaign getting underway, after it was confirmed that the two sides will face off in Parma at the end of August prior to the new season.

Mandatory Credit ©INPHO/Luca Sighniolfi The fixture will see Franco Smith’s squad return to Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi on Friday 30 August (kick-off 7.30pm UK time) to take on the Italian franchise, having earned a 40-9 victory in Parma last weekend to move top of the BKT United Rugby Championship standings after 15 rounds.
Preparations for the new campaign are already underway, with Scotland fly-half Adam Hastings, British and Irish Lions prop Rory Sutherland and Exeter tight-head Patrick Schickerling already confirmed as new arrivals ahead of the new season getting underway.
Scotland internationals including Huw Jones and Jamie Dobie, in addition to up-and-coming talents such as Jack Mann and Ben Afshar, have also committed their futures to the club, as the Warriors continue to build ahead of the new campaign.
