Warriors set for Blockbuster start at Scotstoun as opening 3 home games go on sale this week

Tickets for all three fixtures will then go on general sale from Friday, giving supporters the opportunity to back Franco Smith’s squad from the very start of the new season at Scotstoun. 

The opening run of home fixtures sees the Warriors welcome Ulster, Connacht and the Fidelity Securedrive Lions to Glasgow across October. 

Season begins against Ulster 

Scotstoun hosts its first competitive match of the new campaign on Saturday 3 October (kick-off 7.45pm), as Ulster provide the opposition in Glasgow’s opening home fixture of the BKT United Rugby Championship season. 

The sides last met on the final weekend of the 2025/26 regular season, when the Warriors claimed victory in Belfast to secure top spot in the BKT United Rugby Championship standings ahead of the play-offs. 

Warrior Nation will have its first opportunity to see Franco Smith’s squad in competitive action on home soil as Glasgow begin another campaign at Scotstoun. 

Connacht return to Scotstoun 

Connacht make the trip to Glasgow on Friday 9 October (kick-off 7.45pm), with the sides meeting for the first time since last season’s BKT United Rugby Championship Quarter Final at Scotstoun. 

Recent encounters between the two clubs have consistently produced entertaining contests, with another competitive battle expected as the Warriors continue their opening run of league fixtures. 

Halloween Friday night rugby 

Friday 30 October (kick-off 7.45pm) sees the Fidelity Securedrive Lions return to Scotstoun for a Halloween night clash under the floodlights. 

The Johannesburg outfit enjoyed a landmark campaign last season, securing a first-ever BKT United Rugby Championship play-off berth under Coach of the Season Ivan van Rooyen. The Lions also claimed victory over the Warriors when the sides met in South Africa, with their attacking style making them one of the competition’s most entertaining teams to watch. 

Their return to Glasgow promises another compelling Friday night encounter under the Scotstoun lights.
