The first player ever to reach 100 appearances for the club, Hayes will return to Glasgow and join the Warrior Nation in getting behind their squad for what promises to be an unforgettable occasion.
Hayes remains one of only two players to score over 1000 points in Glasgow colours, whilst he still holds the club record for points in a single season, as well as points in a single match.
The Cook Islands international became a cult hero with the Warrior Nation during his spell in the west of Scotland, turning out for Glasgow Hawks in addition to his time as a Warrior.
“People always talk about how much of a football city Glasgow is, but I genuinely think that the Glasgow supporters are right up there with some of the best in the game,” Hayes told glasgowwarriors.org.
“They’re so passionate about their rugby and their team and they’re a true credit to the club.
“To see how the club has gone from strength to strength over the years, and got better and better as the game evolves, it’s been absolutely fantastic.”
