What’s On | DHL Stormers | URC Quarter Final

Playoffs are beginning as the DHL Stormers travel to Scotstoun to face Glasgow Warriors in the Quarter Final.

It’s the United Rugby Championship Quarter Final, and there is plenty of action happening before kick off to ensure there is fun to be had before the game even starts!

Gates open at 6pm for a 7.35pm kick-off.

COMMUNITY RUGBY

Community Rugby will be taking place on the back pitches from 6pm.

The teams taking part are;

CLYDE IN THE FAN ZONE

Our mascot Clyde will be in the Fan Zone before kick off, for fans to meet and get photos with.  Clyde will also be handing out mini balls to children throughout the event.


GLASGOW CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL CHARITY

The GCHC will be set up in their purple gazebo with lots of fun ways to get involved with fundraising for the charity.

Be sure to stop by the stall to donate generously to the charity.

Our independent local street food traders are excited to share their food and drink offerings.

We’re bringing you vendors with the very best quality food. Traders are offering children’s portions at reduced prices, and all dietary requirements are catered for, including halal, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free.

Speciality hot drinks vendors Hector & Harriet are bringing the heat with their brand-new Drinks With A Kick menu—luxurious hot drinks infused with your favourite spirits.

This menu is in addition to their regular full menu which will continue to offer all your favourite speciality hot drinks and sweet treats, which always includes vegan and gluten free options

AUTOGRAPH AND CELEBRATION BOOKS

Our autograph and champions books are available for £5 each. Payment is by donation, either into the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity buckets, or by scanning the QR code and donating directly to the Fighting for our Families campaign. These will be with the SP Energy Networks Scotstoun Squad who will be around the stadium.

As ever our players will be signing autographs in front of the main stand after the match, so get your merchandise ready for signings!


THE FAN ZONE AND CLUBHOUSE

The Fan Zone and Clubhouse are both open at this match, providing indoor and outdoor bar options to meet up with friends and family.

The Clubhouse is in the main Leisure Centre building and can be accessed from the car park behind the east stand. Please bear in mind the Clubhouse is outside the stadium boundaries, therefore if you have had your ticket scanned please head to the Clubhouse via the north east gate where you can be scanned back out, and in again. Drinks cannot be carried between the stadium and the Clubhouse and vice versa, however, food from the various vendors can be taken inside if you want to find a picnic bench to eat your local scran.


SP ENERGY NETWORKS SENSORY PACKS

Visitors with additional support needs, can request our SP Energy Sensory Packs. There are six packs, which include ear defenders and a selection of colourful self-soothing toys to play with. Email our Event Manager, [email protected] to request yours.


 WHEELCHAIR AND PRAM STORAGE

If you need to store a wheelchair, pram or mobility scooter you can bring it to the Stadium’s main reception. There, a member of the SP Energy Networks Scotstoun Squad will store it for you. This is operated on a first-come-first served basis.
