2014/15 title winners to reunite at Munster clash
Members of the Glasgow Warriors squad that made Scottish rugby history by lifting the 2014/15 Guinness PRO12 trophy will be celebrated at Scotstoun in just over a week’s time, as the tenth anniversary of the historic title win is marked at next weekend’s BKT United Rugby Championship clash with Munster.
Having become the first Scottish side to lift a professional title – a feat matched by the 2023/24 Glasgow Warriors squad last summer – upon beating Munster in the 2015 Grand Final, supporters will have a chance to welcome the history-makers back to Scotstoun once more ahead of kick-off next weekend.
Cult heroes including DTH van der Merwe, Josh Strauss and Niko Matawalu will all be present amongst the celebrations on the night, with more names to be announced over the coming days.

Glasgow Warriors players past and present have also organised a reunion event the night before the fixture – details, including how you can attend, can be found here.
Glasgow Warriors Managing Director Al Kellock, who also captained the club across the 2014/15 season, said: “The squad that lifted the title in 2015 contains so many players who hold a special place in not only this club’s history, but the hearts and minds of the Warrior Nation.
“To have the opportunity to celebrate a special group of players in front of what will be a sold-out Scotstoun will be incredibly special, and we look forward to hearing the atmosphere inside the stadium under the Friday night lights.”
