Watches of Switzerland Group join Glasgow Warriors
The UK’s largest luxury watch and jewellery retailer, Watches of Switzerland Group, has become the latest member of the Glasgow Warriors sponsor family ahead of the start of the 2021/22 season.
This new sponsorship sees the Group, whose brands include luxury watch and jewellery retailers Watches of Switzerland, Mappin & Webb and Goldsmiths, and who partner with Swiss watch brands Rolex, OMEGA and Breitling in operating their branded Boutiques in Glasgow, will benefit from corporate hospitality opportunities, joint events and branding on match days at the club’s Scotstoun Stadium throughout the year with pitch-side advertising also adorning their logos.
The deal will also deliver various other benefits with the Group also enjoying access to player appearances throughout the year, which will help promote their brand.
For the club, a partnership with the Watches of Switzerland Group and their network of luxury retail boutiques and stores across Scotland will present the Warriors with opportunities to place their brand throughout the city.
Watches of Switzerland Group operates 122 showrooms across the UK, including a flagship Mappin & Webb boutique, Scotland’s first luxury Rolex Boutique in Glasgow which opened last year, as well as the OMEGA Boutique and Breitling’s new innovative industrial loft Boutique, all located on Buchanan Street.
They also operate Goldsmiths in Braehead and Buchanan Galleries as well as two new boutique stores and Goldsmiths in Edinburgh’s new St James Quarter development.
