Vacancy – Communications Manager
Glasgow Warriors are searching for a dedicated individual to fulfil the role of Communications Manager, accountable for the management of our club content, driving ticket sales and memberships and developing strong relationships with key stakeholders.
The Communications Manager will head up a team fully focused on delivering a communications strategy for our Guinness PRO14 and Heineken Champions Cup club, creating entertaining and factual content for the club’s own media channels as well as those of local and national media organisations.
Reporting directly to the Glasgow Warriors Managing Director, the individual will have responsibility for our communications and marketing budgets as well as for achieving our ticket sales income targets. There will also be responsibility for supporting the business objectives of the club’s family of sponsors and partners, and ensuring the club adheres to the Guinness PRO14 and Heineken Champions Cup tournament media rules.
This role is now available as a result of current Communications and Marketing Manager Jeremy Bone being promoted to a new role with Scottish Rugby having spent eight seasons with the club, he has accepted a role as Strategic Brand Manager at BT Murrayfield.

“We wish him well in his exciting new role at Scottish Rugby and – whilst he will be missed at Glasgow – we at least know he will still be supporting the club in his new role.”
