URC confirms 1872 Cup decider details
The destination of the 2021/22 1872 Cup will be decided on Saturday 21 May, after the United Rugby Championship confirmed the dates and kick-off times of Round 18 fixtures across the competition.
Glasgow Warriors will make the trip across the M8 to BT Murrayfield for the final match of the regular season, with kick-off for the pivotal clash scheduled for 6.30pm.
Danny Wilson’s men will be looking to retain the trophy they reclaimed from their cross-country rivals last season, having claimed victory in three of the four derbies in the 2020/21 season.
The two teams face off at Scotstoun tonight in the opening match of the 2021/22 series; kicking off at 7.35pm, the match will be played in front of a sold-out Scotstoun, with supporters able to watch the match live on Premier Sports 1.
Miss out on tickets for Friday’s sold-out 1872 Cup clash?
There’s still time to book your seat at our final regular-season home match, as we take on @ZebreRugby at Scotstoun on Friday 1 April!
