The Old School House named as first official Fan Zone

Glasgow Warriors and The Famous Grouse have teamed up to announce that The Old School House will be the club’s first official Fan Zone.

The pub – located on Woodlands Road – is the first location to be announced as part of the club’s partnership with The Famous Grouse, and is a favourite haunt of the club’s official supporters club The XVIth Warrior.

The Old School House will be one of the West End hub’s for Glasgow Warriors supporters to gather and watch their team in Guinness PRO14 and Heineken Champions Cup away matches, starting with the trip to Newport to face the Dragons tomorrow afternoon.

Situated on the site of what was formerly Woodside School, the pub boasts a range of foods including burgers, pizzas and roasts, as well as an extensive selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Glasgow Warriors Managing Director Nathan Bombrys was also pleased with the announcement, stating: “This is a fantastic initiative from our partners at The Famous Grouse.

“The Old School House has been a favourite venue for the XVIth Warrior, our official supporters club, over
the last few seasons, so it seemed like a natural choice as our first venue for this initiative.

“We look forward to gathering with our community
of supporters at the Old Schoolhouse to support the Warriors team when we’re playing on the road.”
