Openside Flanker


Thomas Gordon joined Glasgow Warriors in the summer of 2018, having impressed in the Tennent’s Premiership with Currie.

Born in New Zealand, he qualifies for Scotland through his grandparents and was capped at U20 level.

Gordon’s first appearance in a Glasgow shirt came in the pre-season friendly against Harlequins in Perth in August 2018, playing his part in a 50-17 win.

The flanker claimed the man-of-the-match award on his first start at Scotstoun, impressing in a 34-10 victory over Edinburgh Rugby.

He has an uncanny knack of crossing the whitewash against Leinster, with each of his first three tries for the club coming against the Irish province.

A scintillating performance against Edinburgh in March 2022 saw the flanker cross for a brace of tries, the second finishing off a clinical team counter-attack in front of the West Stand.
