Fraser Brown made his debut for Glasgow Warriors against Zebre in February 2013, and has since become a regular first team member.
Brown added his name to the list of Glasgow Warriors centurions in style in August 2020, crossing for a try and earning Player of the Match honours against Edinburgh at BT Murrayfield.
His performances in the 2014/15 Guinness PRO12 title-winning season saw him win a call up for the 2015 Rugby World Cup squad, where he featured in all five of Scotland’s matches.
Brown also played a significant role in Glasgow’s run to a first-ever European Champions Cup quarter-final in 2016/17, scoring a try in the memorable 42-13 win over Leicester Tigers at Scotstoun in October 2016.
The hooker signed for Glasgow in the summer of 2013 and was in the 38-man squad for the Heineken Cup in 2012, replacing the injured Pat MacArthur before signing. At that time, Brown was playing for Heriots after injury for the Scotland U20s in 2009 regressed his career.
Brown made his international debut in 2013, as a replacement in a victory over Italy in the summer quadrangular tournament. Whilst the majority of his caps have been won from the middle of the front-row, Brown has also represented his country from the back-row, including in a record 44-15 victory over Argentina in the summer of 2018.
He represented his country at his second Rugby World Cup in 2019, showcasing his versatility by playing in all four of Scotland’s pool matches – twice as hooker and twice as openside flanker.
Brown then earned his 50th international cap in the 2020 Guinness Six Nations, helping his side to a memorable victory over France at BT Murrayfield to mark the occasion.
