Argentinian flyer Sebastián Cancelliere joined Glasgow Warriors ahead of the 2021/22 season, having impressed for the Jaguares in Super Rugby.
The winger was part of the Jaguares squad that reached the 2019 Super Rugby Final, with only New Zealand powerhouses Crusaders able to prevent the Argentinian franchise from claiming the title.
He made his Glasgow Warriors debut away to Zebre Parma in October 2021, playing the full 80 minutes at Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi.
An impressive break in his 1872 Cup debut brought Scotstoun to its feet in March 2022, flipping a no-look pass to Josh McKay for a tremendous score.
The winger then registered his first points in Glasgow colours a week later, crossing for a brace of tries away to Cardiff; the first saw him showcase his finishing prowess to cap off a 70 metre team move, before picking off a 60 metre interception for his second try of the evening.
He was voted as the McCrea Financial Services Warrior of the Month for March 2022, on his first nomination for the award.
A product of the Hindu club in Buenos Aires, Cancelliere has a proven nose for the try-line, scoring five tries in 11 appearances in the 2019 Super Rugby campaign.
He then finished as top try-scorer in the 2021 Súper Liga Americana de Rugby, crossing for a superlative 13 tries in nine outings for the Jaguares.
Cancelliere made his Argentina debut in 2017, coming off the bench in a November international against England at Twickenham.
Away from rugby, the winger possesses a degree in engineering.
