Pete Murchie returned to his former club as an assistant coach in 2020/21, having impressed during his coaching career to date.
A Guinness PRO12 title-winner in 2015 with the Warriors, he made 116 appearances in a Glasgow jersey during a proud playing career with the club.
Murchie earned a reputation as a hard-working full-back, as well as a key leader in the squad.
His performances for Glasgow saw him earn international recognition, earning three caps for Scotland between 2012 and 2014.
Upon retiring, Murchie initially cut his coaching teeth with French side Stade Nicois as a player/coach, before returning to take charge of Tennents Premiership side Ayr.
He led the Millbrae squad to a league and cup double in the 2018/19 season, his side securing the BT Cup with a last-minute winner at BT Murrayfield.
Murchie was then announced as the Head Coach of Ayrshire Bulls for the inaugural FOSROC Super6 campaign, before joining the Warriors in March 2021.
