Gregor Brown first moved to Scotstoun when joined the FOSROC Scottish Rugby Academy Stage Three ahead of the 2019/20 season.
He earned his first professional contract as one of four academy graduates announced prior to the 2022/23 season.
The back-rower has represented Scotland at both U18 and U20 level, making his debut for the latter side in the 2020 U20 Six Nations against Ireland.
Born in Aberdeen, he has also spent time in Nigeria and Egypt during his childhood.
His debut came in February 2021, coming off the bench at half-time against Leinster in Dublin.
After a 14-month layoff due to an injury sustained on his first start for the club against Zebre Parma, Brown returned to action in May 2022, coming off the bench against Lyon in the Challenge Cup quarter-final to make his European debut.
Brown was a late inclusion in the matchday 23 for the 2023/24 BKT URC Grand Final after replacing Max Williamson in the warm-ups, coming off the bench to play a key role in the 21-16 victory over the Vodacom Bulls in Pretoria.
His form during the 2023/24 campaign earned him a senior Scotland debut away to Canada on the 2024 Skyscanner Summer Tour, before a first Guinness Six Nations start came away to France in 2025.
Brown was called up to the 2025 British & Irish Lions tour of Australia as midweek cover, making his debut for the squad against the First Nations & Pasifika XV in July 2025.
He earned Player of the Match honours for the first time in a 49-0 win over the Dragons at Scotstoun in October 2025, scoring a try in the process.
