Adam Hastings returned to Scotstoun in the summer of 2024, having previously enjoyed a highly successful spell as a Glasgow Warrior between 2017 and 2021.
The fly-half made 53 appearances during his first stint at the club, becoming an integral part of the Glasgow setup across his four seasons at Scotstoun.
His first appearance of his second spell with the club came in round one of the 2024/25 season, coming off the bench away to Ulster at the Kingspan Stadium.
Having initially come through the academy system at Bath, Hastings arrived in Glasgow prior to the 2017/18 season, swiftly becoming an integral part of Dave Rennie’s playing group as the Warriors reached the Guinness PRO14 playoffs in his first season at Scotstoun.
Hastings would then take his game to the next level in the 2018/19 campaign, a series of impressive performances in the number 10 shirt earning him the Guinness PRO14 Young Player of the Season award in a season that saw the playmaker help his side to the 2019 Final at Celtic Park.
His form in a Glasgow shirt also earned him national recognition during his time at Scotstoun, winning his first senior Scotland cap in the 48-10 win over Canada in Edmonton on the 2018 summer tour.
He also represented Scotland at the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan, scoring 26 of his side’s 61 points in victory over Russia in Shizuoka.
