Tagive to leave Glasgow Warriors
Glasgow Warriors winger Ratu Tagive will be moving on at the end of the current campaign, bringing an end to a five-and-a-half-year stay at Scotstoun.
The 31-year-old departs after four tries in 24 appearances to date for the club, as well as becoming a firm fan favourite during his time in Glasgow.
Having initially joined the club in February 2017, Tagive scored on his first appearance at Scotstoun, collecting a cross-field kick against the Dragons to touch down in front of the East Stand.
His form in the 2019/20 season saw him called up to the Scotland squad ahead of the 2020 Guinness Six Nations, after qualifying on residency for Gregor Townsend’s squad.
“I’m really proud to have been a part of this team for the past five seasons,” Tagive told glasgowwarriors.org.
“Glasgow Warriors gave me a second crack at being a professional athlete and it means the world to me that the club gave me the opportunity to fulfill my childhood dream.”
“I’ve made a lot of memories and friends in my time at the club and I’ll always watch and support the boys from wherever I am in the world.”
