Squad update
Ahead of Saturday’s (8 October, KO 7.35pm) game at Scotstoun Stadium against the Vodacom Bulls in Round 4 of the BKT United Rugby Championship, Glasgow Warriors provides the following squad update:
Jack Dempsey sustained a rib injury in the early stages of Saturday’s match against Ospreys and is now in the care of the Glasgow Warriors medical staff. He is subject to ongoing assessment and will not take part in training this week.
In addition, captain Kyle Steyn has a hamstring injury, from the Round 2 game against Cardiff Rugby, that rules him out of training this week.
Jamie Dobie takes part in training this week as part of a phased return to play as he continues rehabilitation on his hamstring.
Meanwhile, Lewis Bean (head), Matt Fagerson (rib), and Nathan McBeth (knee) all return to training having completed their rehabilitation.
Allan Dell (calf), Huw Jones (back), Ally Miller (back), and Rory Darge (ankle) all continue their rehabilitation for their respective injuries.
