Smith to join Edinburgh
Glasgow Warriors can confirm that Matt Smith has joined Edinburgh until the end of the season.
The former Stirling County man played 25 times for the Warriors, most recently in last season’s victory over the Ospreys at Scotstoun.
He scored both of his two tries for the club against Zebre in April 2017, having made his debut for the club earlier that year.
His form in the 2018/19 season saw him earn a call-up to Scotland training squad ahead of the 2019 Guinness Six Nations, with the back-rower having previously represented Scotland at U20 level.
Smith joins Edinburgh with immediate effect until the end of the current campaign.
