Ross Hall Hospital extends partnership with Glasgow Warriors
Glasgow Warriors will continue to be supported by its Official Healthcare Provider as preparations for the 2024/25 campaign continue in earnest, after Ross Hall Hospital extended its sponsorship of the reigning BKT URC champions for the following two seasons.
Part of Circle Health Group, the UK’s largest independent healthcare provider, Ross Hall Hospital has provided expert medical care to Scotland’s premier club team since joining the Glasgow Warriors network of sponsors and partners in 2015.
The new deal will also see Ross Hall Hospital become the official naming partner of the West Stand at Scotstoun, with the stand to feature the hospital’s branding from the start of the 2024/25 season.
Situated on Crookston Road in South-West of Glasgow, the site forms Scotland’s largest private hospital with over 300 consultants in practice at the facility.
Services offered by the hospital include a dedicated Ophthalmology unit, Eye Care Scotland – the only five-bed (level three) Intensive Care Unit available privately in Scotland – and a Macmillan Quality Environment Mark-accredited cancer centre, as well as being the only private hospital in Scotland with a paediatric service that operates on children from the age of three.
All services are provided by the hospital’s teams of specialist staff and consultants, each working closely together to provide the optimal outcome for their patients.
Speaking following the announcement, Greg Middleton, Director of Operations and Service Development at Ross Hall Hospital, said: “We are delighted to continue our long-lasting relationship with Glasgow Warriors.
“It is a true privilege to be their Official Healthcare Partner and we value the opportunities that provides in delivering our high standards of care to the players throughout each season.
“We are also very excited at the launch of the new Ross Hall Hospital Stand at Scotstoun Stadium and are thrilled to see this come to life.’’
Glasgow Warriors Manging Director, Al Kellock, added: “We’re looking forward to carrying on our relationship with Ross Hall Hospital for another two years.
“Our Official Healthcare Provider gives our players the highest level of care and treatment. Over the course of this sponsorship so far, our club doctors, physios and athletic performance staff have built up a fantastic rapport with the doctors, nurses and staff at Ross Hall Hospital.
“We’re also pleased to confirm that through this sponsorship, Ross Hall Hospital will sponsor our West Stand on match days, with their name and logo appearing on the roof of the building.”
