Seven Warriors in Scotland squad to face Canada
Seven Glasgow Warriors have been selected for Scotland’s opening Summer Tour game against Canada this weekend, with fly-half Adam Hastings in line to make his debut.
Fraser Brown and Ruaridh Jackson have both been named vice-captains, Brown starting at hooker with Jackson pulling the strings at fly-half.
Lee Jones starts on the right wing and will come up against Warrior teammate DTH van der Merwe who will be captaining the Canadians at the Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton.
21-year old Adam Hastings has been rewarded for a fine first season with the Warriors and will follow in the footsteps of his father and uncle in representing Scotland at the highest level should he take to the field.
Scrum-half Ali Price is also among the replacements along with front row pair George Turner and Jamie Bhatti.
