Scotstoun pitch scoops top award

The Scotstoun Stadium 3G surface won a prestigious award at the Institute of Groundsmanship (IOG) Industry Awards 2018 in Birmingham last night.

The surface, which was installed by The Malcolm Group at the start of the 2017/18 season, won the title of ‘Best Managed Artificial Surface of the Year’.

The pitch is managed by Glasgow Warriors Groundsman Patrick Ferrie, with support from the team at BT Murrayfield, who won another award at the same ceremony for ‘Best Professional Rugby Grounds Team of the Year’.
