Price selected for second test

​Glasgow Warriors scrum-half Ali Price is in line to earn his second Test cap for the British and Irish Lions this weekend, after being named on the bench for the second test against South Africa in Cape Town on Saturday evening.

Price who played a key role in the tourists 22-17 victory over South Africa in the first Test in Cape Town will earn his second Test cap off the bench if called upon by Warren Gatland.

The 29-year-old played 65-minutes on Saturday and put out a strong account of himself kicking and passing well.

The scrum-half is one of five Scots named by Gatland and his coaching team, with Duhan van der Merwe, Rory Sutherland, Chris Harris and, former Warrior, Stuart Hogg joining Price in the matchday 23.
