Building a greener future and supporting good causes - check out what the Glasgow Warriors family of Sponsors and Partners has been up to in the latest Playing Their Part.

SP Energy Networks

Official Community Partner SP Energy Networks have continued their commitment to build a better and greener future in recent weeks, launching initiatives across the UK designed to increase green credentials.

A flagship project saw SP Energy Networks contribute £1.7 million to a new electric bus fleet in Edinburgh as part of their wider Green Economy Fund, which also saw nine new Renewable and Energy Efficiency Training Centres launched, helping help the skills needed to create green jobs and accelerate the transition to net-zero by 2045.

There was also a celebration of International Women in Engineering Day by championing Engineering Heroes, whilst also teaming up with Glasgow Warriors to praise the 2021 SP Energy Networks Community Hero of the Year.

KubeNet

KubeNet have been giving back to the community, following their new charity partnership with Mary’s Meals.

The Glasgow-based company have provided the charity with Microsoft Teams Voice Routing, enabling Mary’s Meals staff to communicate and collaborate across the world and allowing Mary’s Meals to continue to combat food poverty for children worldwide.

The Park Practice

The Park Practice is another member of the Glasgow Warriors family of Sponsors and Partners to be supporting good causes over the last month, supporting Gordon McClymont as he completed his GOSH60 charity cycle challenge.

Fellow Glasgow Warriors sponsors McCrea Financial Services and The Malcolm Group were also among those to support the challenge, which raised over £6500 for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
