Nicol makes Jersey switch
Glasgow Warriors tight-head Adam Nicol has joined Jersey Reds for the remainder of the 2020/21 campaign, linking up with the English Championship side with immediate effect.
The 23-year-old made his debut for the Warriors off the bench against the Ospreys in November 2016, going on to make 18 appearances for the club.
Born in Aberdeen, the former Scotland U20 cap made his European debut in last January’s 45-7 win away to Sale Sharks.
The deal will initially be on loan until the end of the season, followed by a permanent switch this summer.
Nicol will be joined at Jersey by James Scott, who – having returned to Worcester Warriors following the conclusion of his loan spell at Scotstoun – will also join the Reds for the remainder of the 2020/21 season.
Glasgow Warriors wish both men well and thank them for their efforts in a Glasgow shirt.
