Harley claims Warrior of the Month

The first McCrea Financial Services Warrior of the Month award was handed out last week, as the club’s most experienced player Rob Harley claimed the award for September 2019.

The flanker was selected by the club’s S&C staff, in a month dominated by pre-season before the club’s opening Guinness PRO14 match of the new campaign.

DTH calls time on Canada career

Unquestionably one of his country’s greatest ever players, DTH van Der Merwe announced his retirement from international rugby at the end of last week following an illustrious career for Canada.

He finishes as the all-time leading try-scorer for the men in red after finishing with 38 tries in 61 appearances, whilst also running out at four Rugby World Cups.
