(Photo by Ross MacDonald / SNS Group) The last time these two sides met with a crowd in Glasgow in a regular league fixture, was on Friday 5 April 2019 in round 19 of the GUINNESS PRO14. That night Glasgow recorded a 30-7 bonus-point victory with tries from Fraser Brown, Adam Hastings, Tommy Seymour, and Zander Fagerson.
That same season the Warriors went on to beat Ulster again at Scotstoun on 17 May, with an impressive 50-20 win in the league semi-final. Tries that day came from Seymour (twice), Ali Price, Rob Harley, Kyle Steyn, and Pete and George Horne.
This being a game that typically sells out, and with only around 325 tickets (seated and standing) still on offer, there’s a lot to look forward to when the Northern Irish side return in ten days.
On the field, Glasgow, currently placed fifth in the URC rankings, will look to continue their unbeaten run of nine games so far. A win in this game could see the Club climbing into the top four, where home quarter-finals are earned.

Away from the rugby, after making their pre-match debut at the Bath fixture in January, the Green Back Band return, to perform their repertoire of pop classics. They’ll be playing inside the South East entrance from 6-7pm.
Club sponsor, Scot JCB, will be the host of this week’s passing challenge, for adults and youngsters alike to get involved with. The exact location for this will be confirmed closer to the time, but is expected to be on the west side of the stadium.
In the Clubhouse, our official Supporters Club, the XVIth Warrior will host a raffle raising money for Hearts and Balls in memory of the late Jim Taylor. Follow the XVIth Warrior here for more information ahead of the game.
As usual our non-playing players will be out in force across the ground, along with our mascot Clyde, meeting and greeting ahead of kick off. And, if you’ve still not managed to get your game-day temporary Glasgow Warriors tattoo, why not head over to the Clubhouse to get your transfer applied.
Glasgow Warriors, Managing Director, Al Kellock said: “We’re calling on the Warrior Nation to come out in force next Friday night to sell Scotstoun out and to get behind our team as they seek to continue their recent unbeaten run.
“The GUINNESS Six Nations has gotten off to a roaring start and with our match in the first break week the Ulster clash is a great option for your weekly rugby fix.”
After the full-time whistle, there will be a signing session with the players at the South East corner.
