Hampden Park is located in the Mount Florida area of Glasgow on Letherby Dr, Glasgow G42 9BA

Parking in the surrounding area is extremely limited and controlled by permits, so travelling by train, bus or subway is the easiest and most reliable way to arrive in good time for kick-off.

All ticket holders will receive free travel on First Bus services, with a unique promo code issued in the week leading up to the match. This code can be redeemed in the First Bus app, allowing free bus travel on the day of the game.

  • BUS

    Travel to and from the game for FREE with First Bus.

    Routes 5, 6, 7, 7A, 31, 34 and 90 all operate from the city centre and stop close to the stadium. Buses can be picked up near Central Station and Gordon Street, with the nearest drop-off points located on Cathcart Road and Aikenhead Road.

    • Download the First Bus App before heading to Hampden Park
    • Select ‘mticket’ tab at the bottom of the screen.
    • Select ‘buy’ in top right.
    • Set your region to Glasgow Network
    • Select Day Ticket category, and FirstDay – Adult – Network Zone (£7.50)
    • Add promo code from Scottish Rugby Ticketing App

  • RAIL

    Hampden Park is just a five-minute walk from Mount Florida train station, with regular services running from Glasgow Central.

    Supporters travelling from the Scotstoun area can catch a ScotRail service from Scotstounhill station to Glasgow Central. From there, change onto a Cathcart Circle service towards Mount Florida or King’s Park.

    Supporters travelling from Edinburgh can take ScotRail services from Edinburgh Waverley to either Glasgow Queen Street or Glasgow Central. Those arriving at Queen Street can transfer to Glasgow Central via local rail or the subway before continuing on a Cathcart Circle service towards Mount Florida or King’s Park.

    Mount Florida is the closest station to the stadium (approximately a five-minute walk). King’s Park and Queen’s Park stations are also within walking distance, around 10–15 minutes from Hampden Park.

  • SUBWAY

    Supporters who prefer the Subway can also combine this with a short bus journey.

    From Glasgow Central, it’s a short walk to either St Enoch or Buchanan Street Subway stations. Take the southbound Inner Circle service and disembark at Bridge Street or West Street. From there, local First Bus services run south towards Hampden, providing a convenient final leg of the journey.

  • ROAD

    The stadium is located 5 minute from Junction 1a of the M74. Exit onto Polmadie Road/A728 and follow as it merges onto Aikenhead Road.
