Harper Macleod extend sponsorship deal with Glasgow Warriors
Harper Macleod, one of Scotland’s leading law firms, has extended its support of Glasgow Warriors for another two years, taking the duration of their partnership into its eighth season.
The deal was announced by Glasgow Warriors Managing Director Al Kellock and Harper Macleod Chief Executive Martin Darroch at Scotstoun today, ahead of the team’s home game against the Dragons this weekend.
The firm has been part of the Warriors setup since 2015, and will again be a prominent name as the club bids for success in both the United Rugby Championship and the Heineken Champions Cup this season.
The deal will see the firm’s name continue to adorn the 220 person-capacity Harper Macleod Club Deck at Scotstoun, the venue for the club’s premium matchday hospitality experience.
Al Kellock, Managing Director at Glasgow Warriors said: “We’re extremely grateful to Harper Macleod for their incredible support of the club in recent seasons.
“To have the backing of Scotland’s leading law firm and a company with an excellent standing in Scottish sport is a real boost to the club, as we continue to strive for success on and off the field.
“Their loyalty and support throughout what has been a challenging couple of years has been appreciated by everyone at the club, and we look forward to continuing our association in the coming years.”
Martin Darroch, Chief Executive of Harper Macleod, added: “We are delighted to continue our long-standing association with Glasgow Warriors and look forward to what the next two seasons will bring for the club and its supporters.
“Like all major sports clubs, and all other walks of life, the Warriors have had to deal with unprecedented challenges over the past two years. They have risen to the challenge and it’s great to play a part in bringing the Warrior Nation back together this season to see the next chapter in the club’s history being written.
“Throughout our time as part of the Warriors family, we’ve enjoyed some incredible performances and results at the Harper Macleod Club Deck, delivered by fantastic players and coaches.
“Some of the faces on the pitch may change, but the club’s culture of striving to be the best is unfaltering. We share that ethos and are delighted to see our relationship extend to eight seasons.”
As well as being one of the country’s leading law firms in both the commercial and personal legal services market, Harper Macleod is renowned as Scotland’s leading sports law practice and has a long history of sporting involvement.
