Glasgow Warriors appoints new Head of Commercial
Glasgow Warriors are pleased to announce that Glen Tippett has been appointed Head of Commercial, from FOSROC Super6 outfit, Ayrshire Bulls.
Glen will begin his role with the club at the start of March. He joins with the aim of growing and ensuring a thriving network of sponsors, partners and business club members.
As well as generating new business and sponsor opportunities, the Commercial team will work to ensure current sponsors and partners, and the club, are maximising their partnerships, through game day activations and wider exposure.
Glen arrives at Glasgow Warriors from Ayrshire Bulls, where he has been General Manger since 2019. Spending more than 12 years with Scottish Rugby in various development roles he is a known face in rugby.
Welcoming his appointment, Manging Director Al Kellock, said: āGlen was the stand-out applicant in our recruitment process. Particularly because of his successes growing Ayrshire Bullsā portfolio of sponsors.
āHe also brings a wealth of knowledge from his time working in the community game. This is a valuable asset as we strive to continue to have an impact in the lives of people in our city and across the west.ā
