DHL Stormers There is no doubt that conversion has gone over. Glasgow win 24-17. They beat the defending champions on their very first visit to Scotstoun.
With one minute left on the clock, Sione Tuipulotu spots a lovely grubber to his oncoming winger. Cancelliere has loads of space here, the bounce is ideal and he runs in over the whitewash.
Now it’s a penalty. Glasgow have a chance to go for the points, but their confident in the scrum and opt for another.
The scrum becomes a free kick and the Warriors opt for another set piece. The East Stand are getting louder and louder – their boys just metres away from that line.
Glasgow make a nuisance of themselves at he line out and place a huge amout of pressure on the subsequent rucks.
The referee’s whistle goes and it’s in the home side’s favour. Glasgow scrum. The crowd goes wild.
Here goes Miotti and Cancelliere, with huge amounts of space on the wing. Cancelliere makes 30 metres, then Steyn carries on, but the covering tackle is made and he’s pulled down five metres from the line.
Stormers line out. We’re still all square and either team can take this.
The Stormers stretch the Warriors defence and start to open up some gaps.
the next pass isn’t as accurate and goes into touch. Stormers ball.
We’re into the last ten minutes and the score remains 17-17.
Ollie Smith collects a Stormers kick and runs about 30 metres. He fends his first defender he comes into contact with and then manages to get he ball away to Huw Jones, in support on a very straight line. He fends two defenders.
Plays stops for a moment as Fraser Brown receives medical attention. After some time with the physios he walks off and waves to the crowd.
Glasgow turnover the scrum, that came from the missed penalty kick. Much needed pressure relieved as Tom Jordan sends the ball well down the pitch and into touch.
Glasgow handed a couple of lifelines there, with Libbok missing his conversion and then a penalty from the boot. Still level, and the rain starts at Scotstoun.
And from the set piece Junior Pokomela levels the scores with a close quarters try. All square 17-17.
Stormers apply pressure here with Libbok slotting the ball into touch on Glasgow’s five metre line.
Big shove from the Glasgow pack, and the penalty is awarded!
Jordan can’t find touch, but the Stormers are pinned on halfway.
Big impact from Berghan!
The prop gets himself in the middle of the maul and forces the turnover – scrum to the Warriors, 15m out from their own line.
George Turner and Lucio Sordoni depart, with Fraser Brown and Simon Berghan coming on
Glasgow think they’ve turned it over, but the referee had called a tackle and awards the penalty.
Stormers find touch on the 22.
Jones is clattered in midfield, but he holds on well and Horne completes the exit with a kick up to halfway.
Damian Willemse knocks on from the lineout, and it’s a scrum to the Warriors 30m out.
Solid exit from Glasgow, and Jordan finds touch 35m from the Glasgow line.
Horne adds the extras for a 17-12 lead.

What a line from the centre, as he comes steaming onto the short ball from Jordan and cuts through.
Three defenders are left for dead as he dives over, the East Stand going wild!
Stormers try to put the squeeze on, but the ball goes wide and Steyn is clear!
Brilliant pressure from the Warriors – the Stormers delay too long and the referee awards the scrum.
Deon Fourie gets over the ball and wins the turnover – Libbok fires the penalty to touch on the Stormers 10m line.
Not quite to plan, but still in Glasgow hands – Vailanu carries, before Sordoni comes piling through.
Vailanu again, then Dempsey, then Fagerson.
Jordan’s kick turns the Stormers, before Sordoni fires through and nails de Wet.
The penalty is awarded, and Glasgow will go to the corner.
Turner finds JP du Preez, before Sione Tuipulotu comes charging through the middle and into Stormers territory.
Bean carries hard, before Horne finds Sordoni in midfield.
Glasgow win the penalty at the lineout, as the visitors come in from the side.
Jordan finds touch on halfway.
The visitors on the attack from the restart, but Steyn reads the play and puts his man into touch on the Glasgow 22.
Off we go again for the second 40 minutes!
What a break from Huw Jones there, he makes 40 metres but his defender is closing in. The pass finds Cancelliere in support but he’s driven into touch, just shy of the line.
That was almost sensational, but it’s not to be.
Likely the final play of the half here. Visitors line out.
Glasgow undo a sustained Stormers attack with patient defence. The Stormers are not short of physicality here, so a massive effort was needed to turn that over.
The support are happy with that, as Sione Vailanu appears from the ruck. A fantastic team effort to stop that pressure.
Stormers force the penalty from the scrum and Libbok sends the ball deeper into Glasgow’s half.
Neither team are managing to inject pace into the game, with errors forcing a number of scrums. The sides have been camped in the middle of the park for a while now, who will find a break first?
Ollie Smith and Huw Jones hold up Willemse on halfway, with the centre ripping the ball away and sending in the backs to gain territory with Horne spotting the space.
Libbok finds touch on the Stormers 10m line, Glasgow lineout.
Libbok pushes the kick wide, and it’s a two point game.
The Stormers eventually find a way over – Clayton Blommetjes has enough room to squeeze over in the corner from Paul de Wet’s cut-out ball.
The visitors look to maul, but Glasgow’s defence holds firm.
Kitshoff has a go but is stopped short.
Libbok’s penalty finds touch and the Stormers look to play, with advantage in hand once more.
Hacjivah Dayimani knocks on, but we come back for the penalty.
Good shot in midfield from Tuipulotu and the Stormers knock-on – Glasgow scrum in centre field.
Horne clears excellently from the base, and the Stormers throw in on halfway.
Wow.
Don’t see that very often – Libbok misses a simple touch from 20m out, and the scrum is Glasgow’s as it goes dead.
Advantage to the visitors as the Warriors drift offside, and Libbok looks to find Leolin Zas with the cross-kick.
Again, though, Steyn does brilliantly to snuff it out.
Horne is all over his man at the base of the scrum, but the Stormers just about hang on.
Kitshoff then does superbly well to grab Cancelliere as he races up the touchline, just about dragging him into touch.
Horne clears long initially, before Jordan can’t quite get to the return ball in time.
Stormers to feed the scrum, just inside the Glasgow half.
The conversion drifts agonisingly wide, but Glasgow back in front.
Clinical!
Brilliant charge from Matt Fagerson in midfield, then the backs do the business.
A great flick from Jordan and burst from Smith sends Jones clear in the wide channel, and the centre gives a perfect pass to Steyn for the score!
A skewed box-kick falls kindly for Cancelliere and Glasgow burst through.
Chance!
Manie Libbok adds the conversion, and the visitors take the lead.
The champions hit back – the Warriors stop the maul initially, but Joseph Dweba has enough power to break away, ride the tackle of Steyn and dot down.
Good work from Matt Fagerson to turn the ball over in midfield, but advantage was being played.
The Stormers go to the corner again.
A big hit in midfield from Lucio Sordoni forces the spill from the Stormers, but the penalty is awarded to the visitors and Lewis Bean is sent to the sin bin for denying a quick tap penalty.
No conversion from George Horne, but Glasgow lead 5-0

The ball is worked wide from Jordan and Smith to Cancelliere, who links up beautifully with Huw Jones.
The centre flicks the ball back infield to Cancelliere, and the winger turns his man inside out before finishing!
A brilliant lineout defence from the Warriors as they turn it over, and Jordan hammers downfield.
Good pressure from the Warriors forces the turnover, but Sebastian Cancelliere can’t quite stay in field and the visitors have the lineout.
From the set-piece the Stormers break through the middle, before Steyn has to shepherd the ball into touch at the expense of a five metre lineout.
Straight away its the Warriors who look to attack, stretching their visitors from side to side and finding the way through.
Kyle Steyn’s break takes play up to the 22 before the Glasgow pack take over, only for Sione Vailanu to lose the ball at the base of the ruck.

It’s Tom Jordan who gets the nod from the referee, Andrew Brace, and we are underway!
Out come the DHL Stormers onto the Scotstoun field for the very first time, as captain Steven Kitshoff leads his men out.
