Another try saving tackle, this time its Ollie Smith and Sebastian Cancelliere on the opposite wing. Scarlets are laying on the pressure here, but Glasgow are matching them in defence.

Scarlets continue this high pressure attack. This time Ollie Smith manages to get his finger tips to the ball, attempting an intercept but he knocks it on.

Try saving defence

Scarlets press right up to the line, but a massive push from the Glasgow forwards, puts Ken Owens into touch, right as he’s about to cross the whitewash. A momentary sigh of relief there.

Now, it’s the home team’s turn to inject some pace into this game. They’ve stepped the speed of the match another level in the last few moments as they look to add to their own tally.

Glasgow have the set piece on halfway. Play has slowed down momentarily. But, now Glasgow drive.

Johnny Matthews steals the line out and then the visitors work through the phases, hammering at Scarlets defence. Finally, Rory Darge bursts through and touches down under the posts. We move 11 points in front.

Glasgow iwn a series of penalties that allow them to advance towards Scarlets line. Then a little nudge through from Sione Tuipulotu doesn’t connect with his winger and goes into touch.

Try number seven in this competition, making him the leading try scorer.

It’s Johnny Matthews dotting down from the back of the maul! Then, another successful George Horne conversion edges us in front.

Glasgow win the line out from Scarlets’ set piece and then as they advance this time Scarlets are penalised on the ground. Tom Jordan knocks the ball into touch on the five metre line. A big opportunity here.

Finally, Jack Dempsey and Scott Cummings find the space, beating their opposite defenders and each making yards. Finally, an offload to George Horne, and an injection of pace sees the scrum-half cross the whitewash.

Glasgow moving the ball from coast-to-coast, looking for a gap. Vailanu, Smith, and Cancelliere finding small spaces. However, the Scarlets remain firm in defence.

The referee calls a halt to the play, as a Scarlets player has stayed down after getting his positioning wrong trying to tackle Fagerson.

Smith claims a high ball and is hit by Macleod at the same time – there doesn’t seem to be a clear release by the tackler but the Scarlets are rewarded with the penalty either way.

Costelow can’t bring the kick around enough, so it remains 11-7 to the Scarlets.

This time the hosts do get over – the Glasgow defence holds firm initially, but Johnny McNicholl’s looping run and wide ball sends Evans over out wide for the score.

Out of nothing, the Scarlets almost break through – a sliced kick sees McDowall and Steyn cross their wires, with Steff Evans almost capitalising.

The Glasgow scramble defence gets back, but the hosts will have a scrum for the earlier knock-on.

Costelow on target once again, and it’s a 7-6 match.
