Glasgow Warriors On the final play of the game, Johnny Matthews delivers the line out, a lovely pop inside from Ali Price to Stafford McDowall who powers over from a short distance.
The final whistle gets closer. Glasgow win a penalty on the halfway line. Tom Jordan kicks it to touch.
Just inside their own half, Price feeds. The referee resets. Two minutes to play.
It’s back and forth at the moment. Penalties and set pieces changing hands regularly. This time Glasgow’s line out isn’t straight, moving to Scarlets scrum.
Replacement scrum half, Ali Price, punts the ball away easing the pressure.
Glasgow concede their 12th penalty of the match. Scarlets knock it into touch and have line out on Glasgow’s five metre line.
Another try saving tackle, this time its Ollie Smith and Sebastian Cancelliere on the opposite wing. Scarlets are laying on the pressure here, but Glasgow are matching them in defence.
The hosts opt for the scrum as they seek to add to their points tally. Glasgow need to defend with their lives here.
The referee looks to see if Smith’s intercept attempt is a deliberate knock on. He says no, much to the frustration of the home crowd. Scarlets scrum.
Scarlets continue this high pressure attack. This time Ollie Smith manages to get his finger tips to the ball, attempting an intercept but he knocks it on.
Scarlets press right up to the line, but a massive push from the Glasgow forwards, puts Ken Owens into touch, right as he’s about to cross the whitewash. A momentary sigh of relief there.
Now, it’s the home team’s turn to inject some pace into this game. They’ve stepped the speed of the match another level in the last few moments as they look to add to their own tally.
Glasgow have the set piece on halfway. Play has slowed down momentarily. But, now Glasgow drive.
Johnny Matthews steals the line out and then the visitors work through the phases, hammering at Scarlets defence. Finally, Rory Darge bursts through and touches down under the posts. We move 11 points in front.
Glasgow iwn a series of penalties that allow them to advance towards Scarlets line. Then a little nudge through from Sione Tuipulotu doesn’t connect with his winger and goes into touch.
It’s Johnny Matthews dotting down from the back of the maul! Then, another successful George Horne conversion edges us in front.
Glasgow win the line out from Scarlets’ set piece and then as they advance this time Scarlets are penalised on the ground. Tom Jordan knocks the ball into touch on the five metre line. A big opportunity here.
Another Glasgow attack, but it ends with Johnny Matthews penalised at the breakdown, just five metres from the hosts’ line.
Another penalty kicked from Scarlets, edges them back in front. Costelow the kicker.
Before the conversion, the referee goes back to yellow card Scarlets’ Sam Wainwright for contact on Rory Darge.
Play resumes and Horne converts, levelling the score.
Finally, Jack Dempsey and Scott Cummings find the space, beating their opposite defenders and each making yards. Finally, an offload to George Horne, and an injection of pace sees the scrum-half cross the whitewash.
Glasgow moving the ball from coast-to-coast, looking for a gap. Vailanu, Smith, and Cancelliere finding small spaces. However, the Scarlets remain firm in defence.

Costelow slots the kick with the last action of the half, and the hosts lead 14-7 at the break.
The referee calls Glasgow for going off their feet at the ruck and Costelow will go for goal from in front of the posts.
Scarlets win the lineout but the maul is stopped dead.
Sione Tuipulotu then shuts down Costelow, as the Warriors drive the hosts back.
Conbeer takes Horne’s kick well, before Davies goes long.
Steyn rises highest to claim the next kick, but Costelow picks off a turnover and finds a 50-22.
It’s Morgan Jones who departs for a HIA, as Carwyn Tuipulotu comes on.
Glasgow scrum, as Cancelliere comes into the action.
The referee calls a halt to the play, as a Scarlets player has stayed down after getting his positioning wrong trying to tackle Fagerson.
An overthrow from Ken Owens and George Turner comes away with the ball
Smith claims a high ball and is hit by Macleod at the same time – there doesn’t seem to be a clear release by the tackler but the Scarlets are rewarded with the penalty either way.
Costelow finds touch on the Glasgow 22.
Costelow can’t bring the kick around enough, so it remains 11-7 to the Scarlets.
This time the hosts do get over – the Glasgow defence holds firm initially, but Johnny McNicholl’s looping run and wide ball sends Evans over out wide for the score.
Out of nothing, the Scarlets almost break through – a sliced kick sees McDowall and Steyn cross their wires, with Steff Evans almost capitalising.
The Glasgow scramble defence gets back, but the hosts will have a scrum for the earlier knock-on.
Costelow on target once again, and it’s a 7-6 match.
Referee Reynal gives the home side a penalty as Glasgow are pinged for offside, and Costelow will once again have a shot at the posts.
Costeow’s kick is fielded by Smith, who links up with Steyn and takes Glasgow up to the 10m line.
The return kick ricochets off a Scarlets player and into touch for a Glasgow lineout.
Costelow exits from the restart, Smith replying in kind for a Scarlets lineout on halfway.
No mistake from Costelow, and the hosts are on the board.
Zander Fagerson doesn’t roll away fast enough for the referee’s liking, and Costelow will have a shot at goal from the 22.

Scarlets turn it over though…
No messing around by Jordan, who thumps it to touch on the Glasgow 10m line.
The hosts drop the lineout but it’s adjudged to have gone backwards, as Gareth Davies snipes around the ruck.
His offload is knocked on by Nicolas, however, and Glasgow have the scrum.
This time the hosts win the turnover, as Macleod gets over the ball at the breakdown and wins the decision from referee Reynal.
Costelow finds touch 30m from the Glasgow line.
Jordan thumps the scrum penalty long and finds a brilliant touch on the Scarlets 22.
Darge cleans up a loose ball and Glasgow in possession.
Costelow and Ioan Nicolas work the short side, but Steyn chops down Ryan Conbeer.
The ball then goes forward, and Glasgow will have the scrum 30m from their own line.
Smith does superbly to beat three defenders and race over halfway, but the tackle dislodges the ball and it goes forward.
Scarlets scrum, as Louisi throws a forward pass in the advantage.
Costelow does well to take Horne’s kick as it drops short, but Sam Louisi then offloads into touch.
Glasgow lineout on their own 10m line.
Josh Macleod wins the turnover for the hosts, but the Glasgow defence holds firm.
Steyn is there to claim a high bomb from Costelow.
Unlucky there, as Ollie Smith runs into Sebastian Cancelliere and is called for crossing.
Costelow finds touch just outside the Scarlets 22.
Scarlets are penalised for a high tackle on a charging Dempsey, and Jordan will go to the corner once more.
Back underway, as Jordan finds touch on the Scarlets 22.
George Turner finds du Preez and the Warriors are off and running.
Another penalty for the Warriors, as the Scarlets race offside from the lineout.
There’s a break in play here as Johnny Williams is down receiving treatment.
Referee Reynal awards Glasgow the penalty from the scrum, and the ball is sent to touch on the Glasgow 10m line.
Vaea Fifita rips the ball from JP du Preez at the restart, only for Dempsey to do exactly the same on the ex-All Black.
Scarlets then are pinged for accidental offside in front of a kick, giving Glasgow a scrum on their own 22.
Deadeye from Horne from out wide, and the Warriors lead 7-0
