Young fan Duffie inspired by new rugby heroes
Logan Duffie was a lad on a mission during last week’s Open Training Session at Scotstoun.
Having just started his rugby journey down at Clydebank Titans, the young fan was amongst the 900 supporters in attendance at the home of the Warriors, watching his rugby heroes go through their paces ahead of Saturday’s United Rugby Championship quarter-final with Leinster.
He then made full use of the signing session that followed, getting the signature of each and every member of the 2021/22 playing group on his away shirt.
That shirt was then worn with pride down at The Old Schoolhouse, as Logan and dad Paul headed down to cheer on their team from the club’s Official Fan Zone, where an amazing £354 was raised for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Whilst the result didn’t go the way anyone associated with the club would have wanted, young Logan had a day to be remembered courtesy of a few of his new heroes – not only was he invited up to take part in a Q&A with host Hugh Dan MacLennan, but his proudly signed shirt ensured that he was the centre of attention with Kyle Steyn, Rory Darge and Alex Samuel.
Indeed, he went home with a new shirt to add to his collection, with Darge gifting him his 2021/22 polo shirt and signing it alongside Steyn and Samuel.
Who knows – maybe one day it’ll be Logan signing the shirts of future Warriors fans?!
