Winning start to 2020 for Warriors
It was a super six for the Warriors in Italy over the weekend, as Dave Rennie’s side claimed a bonus-point victory over Benetton to kick-start the new decade.
Two tries from George Horne – in addition to scores from Sam Johnson, Pete Horne, Niko Matawalu and Andrew Davidson – and a resolute defensive shift gave the men from Scotstoun the victory, moving them up to third in Guinness PRO14 Conference A.

First @GlasgowWarriors try for @AndrewDavidson_ yesterday. Andy’s the first first-time scorer of the season.
He’s the 25th different try scorer of 2019/20 (figures for 18/19 and 17/18 were 36 and 30).
He’s the 188th player to score a try for Glasgow. #WeAreWarriors

Saturday also saw a piece of club history made at the Stadio Comunale di Monigo, as Petrus du Plessis became the oldest player to appear for Glasgow Warriors in a competitive league match.
Safe to say the man himself enjoyed the occasion…

Warrior Nation out in force
It wouldn’t be a Glasgow Warriors away match without the vocal support of the Warrior Nation, as the club’s supporters once again showed why they’re so highly regarded by the club and across Europe.
Thank you to the hundreds of supporters who travelled to Treviso to support us this afternoon. You were unbelievable once again ?

#NaksisBack
All the action in Treviso came at the end of a week that saw the return of one of Glasgow’s favourite sons to Scotstoun, much to the delight of the Scotstoun faithful.
Leone Nakarawa arrived in Glasgow after signing a short-term contract with the Warriors, marking a return to the club he left in the summer of 2016.
