Weekend Update
A half-century, a new arrival and the October Warrior of the Month is revealed - catch up with all that's been happening in our latest Weekend Update.
Warriors hit 50 in victory over Kings
If the Warrior Nation was expecting a big performance from their side in their first home match for three weeks, then they weren’t disappointed on Friday night.
Dave Rennie’s side ran in eight tries without reply in a 50-0 victory over the Southern Kings at Scotstoun, with seven different scorers adding to a well-earned penalty try under the Friday night lights.

McDonald scoops Warrior of the Month award
As if winning the man-of-the-match award on his 25th birthday wasn’t enough, Kiran McDonald took home another piece of hardware on Friday night.
The second-rower was named as the McCrea Financial Services Warrior of the Month for October, after a string of consistently top-level performances in the Warriors’ engine room.

From Warrior to World Champion
And finally – whilst Scotland may have been unsuccessful in their attempt to lift the William Webb Ellis trophy, there was one Warriors connection to South Africa’s celebrations on Saturday in Yokohama…
.@GlasgowWarriors number 116 and @Scotlandteam cap number 927 Matt Proudfoot now a world cup winning assistant coach with South Africa. He’s done a hell of a job with that pack.
