Warriors fall in Guinness PRO14 opener
Glasgow Warriors opened their 2019/20 campaign in Bloemfontein on Friday night, as Dave Rennie’s men faced the Toyota Cheetahs in the opening match of the Guinness PRO14. It was the South African outfit that emerged victorious, however, running out with a 48-14 victory. Despite the defeat, there were positives for the Scotstoun side, including a brace of debutants amongst the replacements.

Scotland win in Kobe
After defeat in their opening Rugby World Cup match, Scotland knew that nothing less than a win would do against Samoa in Kobe earlier today. The result, however, was never in doubt, as Gregor Townsend’s side ran in four tries to claim a bonus-point 34-0 win over their Pool A counterparts.
