Defeat in Exeter, the Warrior Nation make themselves heard and Scotland Women back at Scotstoun - all this and more in the latest Weekend Update

Warriors downed in Exeter

A physical Exeter Chiefs side proved too strong for Glasgow Warriors on Saturday afternoon, claiming a 34-18 victory in round two of the 2019/20 Heineken Champions Cup.

Despite holding a 13-10 half-time lead, Dave Rennie’s men were unable to hold on against last season’s beaten Premiership finalists, yet remain in the hunt for a place in the last eight.

Warrior Nation make themselves heard

Whilst the result may not have been the one they were hoping for, the travelling Glasgow Warriors supporters once again did the club proud as they travelled in numbers to the south-west of England.

Scotland Women edged out at Scotstoun

After suffering defeat against Wales in the first match of their autumn series, Scotland Women were narrowly edged out by Japan at Scotstoun yesterday afternoon.

Despite scoring four tries in front of over 2,000 spectators, it was the visitors who came away with the victory to bring the curtain down on the year for Philip Doyle’s side.

Glasgow stars in FOSROC Super6 action
