Weekend Update
A half-century at Scotstoun, a historic night for a couple of Warriors, and a sold-out night of rock and roll - it was one of the busiest weekends of the season, so let us take you through it with our latest Weekend Update.
Back with a bang
Eight tries, 56 points and a very happy Warrior Nation – it wasn’t a bad way for Glasgow Warriors to return to action for their first match in a month.
Dave Rennie’s men produced a dominant second-half display to overcome Zebre 56-24 under the Scotstoun floodlights on Friday, with George Horne and Mesu Dolokoto both crossing for a brace.

Stat attack
It proved to be a pretty historic night for a couple of Warriors, with Dolokoto and Pete Horne amongst those celebrating milestones and club records…
? A 100% record from the tee tonight for @Petehorne72
His five conversions mean he’s now scored 4⃣0⃣0⃣ points in a Glasgow Warriors jersey.
We tip our hat to you, Pete! pic.twitter.com/muCEsOcbUU

Pete’s just the 6th player in @GlasgowWarriors‘ history to reach 4️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ points for the club (following in the footsteps of Tommy Hayes, Dan Parks, Ruaridh Jackson, Duncan Weir & Finn Russell). #WeAreWarriors https://t.co/nV7hKFsrsq

Mesu Dolokoto is the first @GlasgowWarriors player to score 2 tries on his debut since the club’s very first game 23 years and 601 matches ago.
Derek Stark scored 4; Alan Bulloch & Kenny Logan 2 each against Newbridge on a day everyone was making their debut! #WeAreWarriors
— Kevin Millar (@topofthemoonGW) February 15, 2020
Mesu is the 18th @GlasgowWarriors player to score a try on his debut.
He’s the 4th sub to score a debut try (after Cammy Little, @colingregor and @FavaroSimone).
He’s just the 2nd forward to score a debut try (after Simone Favaro). #WeAreWarriors
— Kevin Millar (@topofthemoonGW) February 15, 2020
This was the 58th try in the @PRO14Official by @DTHVDM (43 for @GlasgowWarriors and 15 for @scarlets_rugby).
That puts him level with @timbovisser in 2nd place in the league’s all-time top try scorer standings. #WeAreWarriors https://t.co/aBoNuDFXVJ

Following Friday night’s game @GlasgowWarriors have now scored 9⃣9⃣ tries against Zebre in 16 meetings.**
The aggregate points tally of 8⃣0⃣ was the equal highest scored in a Warriors’ match at Scotstoun (70-10 also v Zebre in April 2016 – the Leone effect?!?). #WeAreWarriors

Just a few weeks ago this came up & now @FagersonMatt has reset the benchmark for @GlasgowWarriors forwards with 10 defenders beaten against Zebre. https://t.co/kpWwMz75US

10 – @GlasgowWarriors' @FagersonMatt beat 10 defenders against Zebre, the first forward to hit double figures for defenders beaten in a @PRO14Official match since Taulupe Faletau in April 2013 (13 for Dragons v Ulster). Rampaging. pic.twitter.com/zfITkCv8GB

Friday was the 6th time that @george_horne10 has scored 2 tries in a match for @GlasgowWarriors (54 appearances). The only players to score 2 (or more) tries more times for the club are DTH van der Merwe (11), Niko Matawalu (8); and Tommy Seymour (7). #WeAreWarriors
