It's been a busy few days both at Scotstoun and beyond - sit back and catch up on all that's been happening with our special Midweek Update.
12 Warriors named in Scotland squad for Rugby World Cup
No prizes for guessing the biggest story of the week so far, after Gregor Townsend named his 31-man Scotland squad for the upcoming Rugby World Cup in Japan. 12 Warriors will be on board the plane to Japan, the most contributed to the squad by a single club.

.@thistlerugbypod I know you boys enjoy a good stat. And you love a bit of Ryan Wilson…So here’s one for you.
Since Ryan’s debut in 2013 Scotland have won 65% of the games that he has started but only 34% of the games that he has not started.

DTH selected in Canada squad
It wasn’t just the club’s Scotland stars that had reason to celebrate – Canada’s selection of DTH van der Merwe in their final squad means that Glasgow’s record try-scorer will be heading to his fourth Rugby World Cup, as he prepares to face the likes of New Zealand and South Africa in Pool B.
Three more years for Oli
The week started off on the best of notes for the Warrior Nation, with the news that Oli Kebble had signed a contract extension to keep him at the club until the summer of 2022. Both the man himself and the Scotstoun faithful were – it’s fair to say – delighted with the news.

Can you like a tweet lots and lots. Great news Oli is staying!
