Issue Two of Warrior to go on sale tomorrow

Supporters attending tomorrow’s Heineken Champions Cup opener against Sale Sharks at Scotstoun will have their first chance to buy Issue Two of Warrior, the official magazine of Glasgow Warriors.

Launched at the start of the 2019/20 season, the new magazine is packed with exclusive content and in-depth interviews with both members of Dave Rennie’s squad and those from further afield.

Club record try-scorer DTH van der Merwe is the cover star for the new edition, as the Canadian reflects on his international career, THAT try in 2015 and life in Glasgow.

We also talk to Petrus du Plessis about how he unwinds away from the training paddock, with the prop discussing everything from his love of Metallica to learning Greek.

Scrum-half Ali Price answers your questions, whilst Glenn Bryce and Matt Smith play Hit or Miss with a selection of Scottish musical acts.

The club’s longest-serving coach Kenny Murray chats about his time at the club so far, with Kiran McDonald taking us on his Road to Scotstoun.
