Dell leaves Glasgow Warriors
Allan Dell will leave Glasgow Warriors with immediate effect, after the club agreed to release him from his contract to pursue new career opportunities.
The loose-head prop made 12 appearances for Franco Smith’s squad after arriving at Scotstoun in the summer of 2022. He scored his sole try in Glasgow colours in the victory over the Ospreys in November 2023.
Capped 34 times by Scotland since his debut against Australia in 2016, he also received a call-up to the British and Irish Lions tour of New Zealand in 2017.
“I’d like to say thank you to the club for the last couple of seasons, and I’ve got nothing but best wishes for everyone at Scotstoun,” said Dell.
“Hopefully I’ll be back in the stands with the supporters soon, and I look forward to catching up with the Warrior Nation over a beer or two in the future.”
The club thanks Allan, and wishes him all the best with his future endeavours.
