The new-look lineup of the development competition will see two teams apiece from Scotland, Ireland and Wales compete in an expanded tournament, with Glasgow Warriors and Edinburgh representing Scotland.
Initially launched at the start of 2022, the competition will adopt a new format which will be made up of five rounds, before three double-header play-off rounds determine who will be this season’s Celtic Challenge champions.
The new Glasgow team will play their home matches at Scotstoun and wear the distinctive black kit, with the squad’s first-ever fixture seeing the Warriors take on their cross-country counterparts at Hive Stadium on Saturday 30 December (kick-off 12pm).
