What a try! Started by Tom Jordan, he moves it to Darge who finds Huw Jones on his shoulder, then the break is like a knife through butter. He makes 30 metres, beats his last man and sends Cancelliere in on his shoulder who has the speed to beat the remaining defenders.

Patiently working through those phases, making yards, has paid off. Just outside Munster’s 22. This time George Horne opts for the posts.

Cancelliere gathers another box kick. He’s playing so well round fringes tonight and from their Jack Dempsey sets the forwards off through the phases.

Glasgow’s defensive line stands firm once again. This time Sebastian Cancelliere pulls a loose ball out of the air and straightens up. He’s then bundled into touch, but not before a knock on from Munster is called back.

Another Glasgow penalty. But, this lien out is stolen and cleared. McKay gathers.
Jack Dempsey gathers the throw and the maul is underway again.

Tom Jordan sends the ball high and deep into Munster territory.

Glasgow do not allow the man disadvantage to come up against them, powering over Munster’s ruck to win the ball back. Jordan clears to touch and we lead at the break.

A mis-timed tackle goes against Matt Fagerson, as his arm slides up to hit Peter O’Mahony’s face. Munster kick to touch. This will be the final play of the game.

Glasgow break
Matt Fagerson breaks on his own five metre line he gets Glasgow up to their ten metre line. He finds George Horne on his shoulder. He kicks through and Glasgow pressure Munster’s pick up, now in the home side’s 22.
Josh McKay kicks a marked kick all the way back into Munster’s half.
Scott Cummings wins the Munster line out though and they get back up to their ten metre line.

From a Matt Fagerson break, the referee blows in favour of the home team and they kick back to Glasgow’s 22.

Huw Jones times his tackle perfectly, putting the breaking Simon Zebo into touch and winning the ball back for Glasgow. They’re six metres from their own try line with this line out.

What a move! A long-long line out into the hands of Tuipulotu across the back, he has Cancelliere on his shoulder and space in front. He makes the break, but the line out isn’t straight!

Jonny Matthews with the perfect execution at the breakdown to turn the ball over and win the penalty. Tom Jordan sends it up to half way. Glasgow line out!
Horne converts
A simple kick between the sticks. Gray’s back on and we hold the lead.

Something from nothing. Munster slowly working through the phases and then a loose pass is gathered by captain Steyn, who has 40 metres clear to run in the first score.
He wins the foot race and touches down under the posts!
Matt Fagerson with an excellent jackal to rip the ball from the ruck and win the ball back for Glasgow.
Munster have the ball in Glasgow’s 22, working through the phases. Battering the defensive line. Glasgow hold strong so far, and Zander Fagerson emerges from the ruck with the referee handing the Warriors a penalty.
Tom Jordan will send this up field to ease the pressure, with just 50 seconds left on Gray’s sin bin.

The ball has changed hands on numerous occasions the last few minutes. Neither team playing particularly cleanly.

Josh McKay gathers a Munster box kick and makes yards. They then have a few phases, marching closer to Munster’s 22, but are finally, put in touch.
The Munster line out, isn’t straight though and it’s a Glasgow scrum.

Munster absolutely battering Glasgow’s try line, but they have breached it yet. They win another penalty for offside. This time, for repetitive infringements, Richie Gray goes to the sin bin.

It’s a safe line out option this time, and Munster set up the ruck. Glasgow have managed to push their opponent’s back out of their 22. But, the whistle goes again, back for another penalty, Crowley goes to the five metre line.

Glasgow win the line out, but the whistle goes again. With a second look, Richie Gray has pulled on Peter O’Mahony’s arm, handing Munster another opportunity to kick into Glasgow’s 22.

Glasgow keep applying the pressure in Munster’s half. They aren’t letting them out, dominating the rucks, but the referee deems their play on the floor isn’t to standard and blows for another Munster penalty.

Counter attack
Sebastian Cancelliere picks up a loose pass from Munster’s forwards, he has a half break, that he manages to send on to Huw Jones, Jones slots a low lying kick through to buy some territory.
Glasgow then win the subsequent line out and there’s a break from Jonny Matthews.

Shane Daly looks for a wide looping run, seeing the space opening up, but the covering tackle from Sebastian Cancelliere was excellently executed!

A reminder this is the 2022/23 league champions that we’re playing. Munster also had the upper hand last time we met, back in December. That was a 40-29 win to the Irish side at Musgrave Park.
But, Glasgow come off one of their best display’s of the season, beating DHL Stormers in last weekend’s quarter-final, 27-10.
