A 2017 British and Irish Lion and established Scotland international, Allan Dell joined Glasgow Warriors in the summer of 2022.
Dynamic with ball in hand and a strong scrummager, the loose-head made the switch to Scotstoun following three seasons at London Irish, making 40 appearances in total for the Premiership side.
The prop scored his first try in Glasgow colours in November 2023, crossing for the bonus-point try in the 81st minute of a 31-23 victory away to the Ospreys.
Prior to the move south, Dell represented Edinburgh with distinction over five seasons, having made the move to the capital from the Sharks in 2015.
His form during the 2016/17 season for both club and country saw him called into the British and Irish Lions squad as injury cover on the 2017 tour of New Zealand, becoming the 834th player to pull on the famous red jersey when coming off the bench against the Hurricanes in the final midweek match of the tour.
Dell has also represented the Barbarians, representing the invitational side in a 26-7 win over Spain in Gijon in June 2022.
He made his Scotland debut against Australia at BT Murrayfield in 2016, establishing himself amongst the front-row options and earning selection for the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.
