Lions counter from that try and make it all the way to Glasgow’s try line. However, the ball goes loose at the last move and Stafford McDowall gathers. He finds George Horne, who passes to Kyle Steyn.

Steyn considers the run, but there’s no space and he punts the ball all the way back to Lions’ 22. What a kick that was.

Glasgow have the upperhand

It’s been a positive passage of play for the visitors over the past few minutes. It all started with a pressure tackle from Kyle Steyn, placing his opposite man in touch, in Lions’ 22.

There has been no scoring outcome, but Glasgow are playing with intensity and running good lines.

At the end of that passage play, it was a huge Lions punt down field that rolled all the way over the dead ball line, resetting any momentum.
