Playing Their Part

Working towards a better future, championing mental health awareness and raising money for good causes - check out how our family of Sponsors and Partners have been Playing Their Part.

SP Energy Networks

Official Community Partner of Glasgow Warriors, SP Energy Networks have been continuing their commitment to building a better future following the announcement of their biggest recruitment drive in five years.

126 graduates, trainees and apprentices will join the company over the course of 2021, as they look to deliver a better future quicker for Scotland and beyond.

In addition, SP ENergy Networks and Glasgow Warriors have teamed up to reward unsung community heroes with the launch of the SP Energy Networks Community Hero of the Year award – full details will be revealed in this year’s Glasgow Warriors Awards Week, sponsored by The Malcolm Group.

Mackenzie Construction

Mackenzie Construction has been doing its bit for mental health awareness over the last month, with the club’s Official Civil Engineering Partner supporting Mental Health Awareness Week.

The Glasgow-based group has been championing discussing mental health in the workplace, as well as running a nature photo competition in line with this year’s theme of the week.

Harper Macleod

Members of Team HM took on the Step Count Challenge during April and May, with the various teams recording an incredible 16 million steps in total as they got out and about in a post lockdown world. The five members of the winning team each received a signed Glasgow Warriors top for their efforts.

The leading Scottish law firm also chalked up another significant milestone, holding a virtual celebration to mark 15 years of partnership with the National Autistic Society Scotland, helping to deliver the Education Rights Service to parents in Scotland.

Braehead

Braehead lent their support to Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity over the course of May, helping Team Glasgow beat their Edinburgh counterparts in Lap The Map 2021.

Staff at the centre did their bit to complete the 75,868km distance – the length of Europe’s coastlines – in the aid of raising money for the charity.

Well done to all!
