Ten Warriors in Tennent’s Premiership action
Despite Glasgow travelling to France for their Heineken Champions Cup fixture against Lyon there are still plenty of opportunities to watch Warriors in action at home this weekend with ten involved in games across the Tennent’s Premiership.
Scotland international Alex Dunbar will line up for Ayr as they host Heriot’s at Millbrae. Paddy Kelly will join his Warriors teammate in midfield as the Pink and Black look to remain at the top of the table with another victory.
There are four Warriors in action for Currie Chieftains who host Stirling County at Malleny Park. USA internationals Greg Peterson and Tevita Tameilau are both involved for the home side, as are Kiran McDonald and partnership player Thomas Gordon.
Adam Nicol and Ratu Tagive will face off against their Glasgow teammates, lining up for County who sit seventh in the Premiership as things stand.
It’s a big game at the foot of the table with Glasgow Hawks hosting Hawick. Just one point separates the teams and Bruce Flockhart and Matt Smith will add strength to the home side who can leapfrog their opponents with a victory.
Elsewhere, Watsonians host Boroughmuir in an Edinburgh derby and reigning Champions Melrose travel to bottom of the table Edinburgh Accies.
