The 2022 SP Energy Championships kicked off at Scotstoun on 22 February, with four teams battling it out to reach the semi-finals. It would be East Kilbride Schools - a combined squad featuring Duncanrig Secondary, St Andrews and St Brides and Calderglen High - who would emerge victorious, getting the better of Eastwood High School, St Paul's RC and Stonelaw High School. 139 tries were scored on a highly competitive day at the home of the Warriors, with the standard of rugby on show setting a high bar for the rest of the Championships.
