At Glasgow Warriors we are continually listening to and acting on the feedback we are receiving from you.

There are several ways you can communicate with us when sharing your feedback. Though we won’t be able to respond to all feedback we will do our best to share improvements we are making and projects we’re working on.

This ‘You Said, We Did’ page aims to demonstrate the actions we’re taking to improve match days and facilities around our home at Scotstoun Stadium.

Offer a wider variety of food: gluten free, vegan, children’s options

Across the stadium we have worked on making our match day food offering better, increasing the quality and introducing more variety.

Over the course of the season we have worked with numerous independent local suppliers, serving up wild game burgers, Mexican food, hot dogs, Shawarma, hand-stretched pizzas, and gourmet cheese toasties. All these suppliers have added children’s portions, vegan, and gluten-free options to their menus.

In addition, we are now offering speciality tea and coffee with luxury hot chocolates, vastly improving our hot drinks offering.

Re-introduce soup and Bovril

We have re-introduced Bovril across the stadium, which can be bought from kiosks in the main and north stands. Also, in the north stand you can purchase soup once again.

Improve accessibility services

Information on all our accessibility services is now kept up-to-date on a dedicated Accessibility web page. New accessibility features and services this season include, having our team announcements and match day information videos translated with British Sigh Language; the introduction of a new video accessibility guide for anyone who may have mobility challenges around the stadium; a new Allied Mobility Drop Off zone; SP Energy Networks Sensory Packs for anyone who may benefit from self-soothing toys or ear defenders; and new Quiet Day events for anyone who may not be able to attend match days, offering them the chance to see the team preparing for games.

As part of this we are now also offering pram storage for those attending the match with babies and have a dedicated information segment on our website for parents attending with young children and babies.

Increase interaction with the women’s game in Scotland

With the introduction of the Glasgow Warriors team competing in the 2023/24 Celtic Challenge we have been able to establish a much greater connection with some of the best players and personalities in the women’s game in Scotland.

We’ve been delighted by the reception to the new women’s team and appreciate all the players and coaches’ efforts to integrate with the wider Glasgow Warriors squad.

New ticket packages

Supporters can now make the most of match ticket bundles and large-group ticket offers.

General ticket purchasers, can get some of our best discounts on our match bundles –these are packages that group three matches together, offering an alternative to season tickets options.

Group ticket offers are also available for every fixture at Scotstoun apart from the 1872 Cup clash with Edinburgh in December, with parties of 15 or more able to take advantage of bespoke discounts per fixture.

Make the transfer of season tickets more user friendly

With the introduction of the Tixserve app the delivery of tickets is now much easier, and subsequently these can be transferred easily between anyone that uses the Tixserve app for Glasgow, Scotland, and Edinburgh.

The app also allows us to share match day information with supporters quickly and directly. With this functionality we can also share push notifications that will alert you if any significant changes occur at short notice on match day.

Make the east and west stands more comfortable

We have reached a long-term agreement with GL Events to provide our east, west, and community stands. These stands have a higher roof making the viewing experience much better. Also with more leg room we can maximise space for our customers, making the stands much more comfortable. Speakers have also been incorporated into these stands to improve the sound quality from the announcer and music played.

Introduce more match-day themes

In 2023/24 we have hosted themed events, that we make sure offer something different for our supporters, relating to the specific themes.

So far, we have hosted a dedicated family day with inflatables, children’s games, and face painters; a Club of Origin round with a whole host of activities involving grassroots clubs; and our annual Plaster It Purple fundraising event.

These events add a new dynamic to our match days, and we have loved how much our supporters have bought into the different activities on offer.

More signing, Q&A sessions, and trophy displays

In the Clubhouse prior to each match we have players from our women’s and men’s teams take part in a preview Q&A with our host, Clyde Radio’s, Gavin Pearson. There is always a match playing player who joins fans in the Clubhouse after the match.

In the past year we have had the Calcutta Cup, The Doddie Weir Cup, 1872 Cup, and Scottish x Italian Shield all on display and available for pictures.

After each game, our players will always make their way to the barriers in front of the main stand to meet fans, friends, and families. They will always be available to take selfies and sign our new autograph book, introduced for the first time this season. Profits from the autograph book are also donated to the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, as part of our wider fundraising campaign.

Share match day activities further in advance of games

We now share all upcoming match activity at least two weeks ahead of each game –on our website and social media– to give fans plenty time to plan their day and look forward to what is coming up. Each game we try and offer a selection of different options for people to get involved with, so no match day is ever the same.

This season, we have introduced a match day timeline graphic that offers an easy-to-read breakdown of the key events on game day, so you always know the right places to be when. This game-day timeline was recommended as part of the accessibility focus group run at the start of the season, that took recommendations from charities and supporters that attend matches with additional support needs.

More events for members and supporters outside of match days

In the last year, over and above our annual preview Members Event at Hilton Glasgow, and Members Forum event at Scotstoun Stadium, we have hosted a quiz with the XVI Warrior at the Old Schoolhouse, our official fan hub; we have hosted watch events, in Club KubeNet for Scotland in the Rugby World Cup, and in the Harper Macleod Club Deck for our Champions Cup fixture with Exeter, prior to a Glasgow Warriors Women’s team event. We also hosted a watch event in Hilton Glasgow for the Challenge Cup final in May, and an exclusive Members Event at Gaucho, on a Guinness Six Nations match day.

Increase player interaction with charities, clubs, and schools

Through the player and staff clans we are making sure we are interacting with our community much more. We are now running dedicated Clan Weeks/Days where players, coaches and staff head out to Clubs, Schools, or Charites to get involved with the community.
