2023/24 Champions Cup fixtures announced
Glasgow Warriors will open their 2023/24 Champions Cup campaign under the Friday night lights at Scotstoun this December, following today’s announcement of pool stage fixtures by EPCR.
Franco Smith’s men welcome Northampton Saints on Friday 8 December (kick-off 8pm), with last season’s English Premiership semi-finalists having last made the visit to Glasgow in the 2015/16 campaign.
A first-ever clash with Bayonne follows a week later on Friday 15 December (kick-off 8pm UK time), as the Warriors head to the Stade Jean Bauger to take on the Basque outfit appearing in the top tier of European rugby for the first time in their history.
The Warriors then hit a familiar road in January, travelling to Sandy Park to take on Exeter Chiefs on Saturday 13 January (kick-off 1pm) after being drawn together in the pool stages for the sixth time in the past 10 seasons.
Glasgow round out their pool stage fixtures with a rematch of the 2023 Challenge Cup Final, with the Warriors welcoming Toulon to Scotstoun on Friday 19 January (kick-off 8pm) for what promises to be a thunderous affair in front of the Warrior Nation.
The new format will see the top four teams from each pool qualify for the Champions Cup Round of 16, with the fifth-placed teams dropping into the Challenge Cup at the same stage.
Both of Glasgow’s home pool matches against Northampton Saints and Toulon, as well as all nine BKT URC home fixtures and The Famous Grouse Pre-Season Friendly against Zebre Parma, are included in a 2023/24 Season Ticket – for more information, click here.
